Purchased on Black Friday from California and it was in the mail box on the following Wednesday.

This was my second Aran sweater from Standun, the first was a cream one from 10 years ago, but remains as new. The current charcoal heather item is somewhat lighter in weight than the first, but not disagreeably so, as this sweater is quite warm. The sweater has been the subject of numerous compliments, a matter of some surprise.

Exceptional by every measure and better than I had expected

Ordered at 10 pm on Black Friday from California and received it (with free shipping) the following Wednesday! The Charcoal descriptor is actually a bit inaccurate in that the sweater is a heather combo in charcoal and dark gray that is very striking. I was delighted by the combination. The catalog photo suggests that the black is not pure, but the lighting is characterized by a reddish sunlight, whereas the actual sweater has no brownish tinge. One might suspect there is a dark bluish gray . The construction, fit and weight are all top-notch. I have an older version of the sweater in white from over 10 years ago. After all that time it is still a stunner. That is certainly proof positive of the durability one can expect.
